Purging Compound

Ultra Purge is a ready-to-use purging compound designed to increase productivity during color and material changes. Ultra Purge is highly recommended by major machine and colorant producers as the most cost-effective and efficient solution for cleaning your machines. It will reduce scrap and downtime during color changes, material changes and shut downs by 50 to 80%. Ultra Purge is Food Grade certified and all components are GRAS by the FDA. HOW ULTRA PURGE WORKS: Ultra Purge is a nonabrasive, chemical purging compound. Ultra Purge works by breaking the molecular bonds of the polymers and pigments that contaminate your machine. These contaminants are then safely ejected without harming the screws, barrels and even hot runner systems. Ultra Purge is effective for color changes, material changes and removing black specks. An expanding agent present in Ultra Purge allows it to clean even the most hard to reach areas inside your machines. Ultra Purge cleans at the processing temperature of the previous production material.
